If like us, you've been getting all misty-eyed over the rather lovely John Lewis Christmas ad, then you probably haven't even thought about how that bear and his mate the hare were brought to life, but let us enlighten you anyway.
And if your first thoughts are that the whole thing was animated on computers or hand drawn then think again. Yes computers were involved - as was lots of drawing by hand - but the final thing was actually created using stop motion animation (a bit like 'Wallace And Gromit').
