Honey Bees 'Can Be Trained To Detect Cancer From Scent Of Patients' Breath'

Can Honey Bees Be Trained To Detect Cancer?

If you thought bees were just useful for making honey, think again.

Susana invented a two-chambered glass dome that uses bees to sniff out cancer.

"People exhale into the smaller chamber, and the bees rush into it if they detect on the breath the odor that they were trained to target."
