Need to fly from London to New York but think £4000 ticket is just well, too cheap?

How about this? A supersonic business jet capable of crossing the Atlantic in three hours - all for the cool price of (at least) £36.5 million.

The Spike Aerospace S-512 will carry 12-18 passengers in absolute luxury at speeds that will make a weekend hiking in New Zealand feasible.

The concept has developed by the Boston-based by a team that previously worked with Airbus, Gulfstream and Bombardier.

And they're not stopping there - future versions of the aircraft could even feature vertical take-off and landing.
