Corvette wants to make your real life car into a video game.
The American car maker has used the CES 2014 tech show to announce a new system in which it will overlay real footage recorded as you drive, and overlay information including speed, lap time and other metrics in a fashion very reminiscent of driving games.
When you download the footage, you can watch your efforts around a track (or the local car park) in glorious 720P.
The new Performance Data Recorder will only be available in the 2015 Corvette Stingray at first, but could make it into later models too.
Built-in dashboard cameras are popular in other parts of the world - particularly Russia, where insurance companies have been known to insist on footage to make a claim.
