Formula One Stars Take Photos To Raise Money For Great Ormond Street Hospital (PHOTOS)

LOOK: F1 Stars Take their Turn Behind The Camera Lens

The sight of a camera pointing their way is part of daily life for the world's greatest racing drivers but that hasn't stopped them getting behind the lens themselves - and all for a good cause.

Stars of F1 came together last season to raise funds with Zoom for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSHCC) by taking their own photographs with cameras supplied by Nikon.

Drivers and team principals of every F1 team were asked to take a photograph and the images, ranging from Fernando Alonso’s podium shot of the Monza crowd to Nico Rosberg at the wheel of an historic 1938 W154 Mercedes, will be signed and auctioned by Coys on 7 February in London.

They give a brief glimpse of the world view of those at the sharp end of F1 both on and off the track, something that many on the outside rarely see, if at all.

The photographs will also be collated in a special edition book, published by Vision Sports Publishing, which will go on sale ahead of the 2014 F1 season.
