You know when something looks brilliant in your bedroom - is a sartorial triumph in your head - and then absolutely doesn't work in actual public? Imagine that feeling multiplied by one million and you've got what it feels like to be on a worst dressed list *shudders*.
Speaking of which, this is our 10 worst dressed stars from the BAFTAs 2014. One clashes with the red carpet (sorry Claudia Winkleman) and another is a really good example of when a sparkly suit just doesn't work (kudos for side-stepping a dress though, Ruth Wilson).
