Hank Azaria Asks, Can You Be Friends With Your Child? (Video)

Star of The Simpsons' Hank Azaria is struggling to find a balance between being a friend to his four-year-old son and being the parent he knows he needs to be.

Becoming a father raised a lot of difficult questions for Hank, and his Fatherhood documentary series sees him asking celebrity dads and childcare experts for advice on how to be a good parent.

In Episode 4: Being a kid with your kid Hank visits the destination that is most likely to bring out the big kid in grown ups: Walt Disney World.

While there he ponders: "There's a lot of parenting to be done here. There's also a lot of silly fun to be had. I'm wondering how people handle that?"

As David L. Hill, author of Dad to Dad: Parenting Like a Pro, tells Hank: "We so want our kids to like us that it can be hard to realise that we are destined to make them unhappy as part of our job of keeping them healthy, keeping them safe."

Watch the video above to learn how Austin Powers actor Mike Myers learnt form his father how to be both a great playmate and a great authoritarian.
