Big Bang Announcement Scorned By Creationist Scientist Dr. Danny Faulkner

Creationist Scientists Aren't Very Happy With The Big Bang Announcement

The ground-breaking announcement that cosmologists had found an echo of the Big Bang has been rubbished - by a Creationist scientist.

Dr. Danny Faulkner is adamant that because the Bible says God created the universe before the stars the idea can't possibly be true.

He said: "This announcement undoubtedly will be welcomed as the long-sought proof of cosmic inflation so necessary to the big bang model.

"Biblical creationists know from Scripture that the universe did not begin in a big bang billions of years ago."

Science disagrees.

Ripples in the fabric of space itself known as gravitational waves were identified by a specially designed telescope at the south pole.

Like a cosmic tsunami, they were generated when the universe suddenly exploded into existence almost 14 billion years ago.

Scientists believe the cosmos expanded at an enormous rate - faster than the speed of light - in the first tiny fraction of a second after the Big Bang.

The theory, called "inflation", was dreamed up to explain why the universe today is so remarkably uniform.

But Dr. Faulkner is having none of it. He said: "The predictions that are being supposedly confirmed are very model-dependent: if the model changes, then the predictions change.

"Inflation is just one of many free parameters that cosmologists have at their disposal within the big bang model, so they can alter these parameters at will to get the intended result."

Ok then...
