Even the most basic Easter eggs take a bit of work to get – and keep – their iconic shape. But for the chocolatiers who make Tesco finest Medley of Belgian Chocolate Easter Eggs – Lir Chocolates – there's even more of a challenge.

The Luxury chocolate treat is actually five individual eggs in one mouth-watering case.

The outer, largest layer is coconut and milk chocolate. Next up is a casing of dark Belgium chocolate, closely followed by more milk chocolate with hazelnut.

A casing of white chocolate with raspberries follows, cased with dark chocolate and butterscotch. The Easter treat is finished with a white chocolate golden egg in the middle.

Drooling on the floor yet?

Here, the experts at Lir Chocolates show us how the luxury Easter egg from Tesco is made – from initial designs to the finished mouth-watering product.
