Summer is finally here, and as far as we're concerned it couldn't have come soon enough! The May mini-heatwave gave us a tantalising glimpse of things to come, so our monthly round-up of fun events and activities for families includes plenty of opportunities to get out and about in the sun.
We know that's a little bit optimistic, though. Most of us have long learned not to stake all our hopes on the promise of a great British summer, so we've also included all kinds of indoor events to ensure not even a rainy day gets in the way of family fun.
