Shopping In Zara Just Got Even Better

Just when you thought you couldn't love Zara any more, the high-street fashion haunt has brought in a new stock control system designed to make its supply chain even faster.

So what does improved stock control mean for us? Zara's parent company Inditex SA has revealed that a new microprocessor-based tagging system will allow items to be tracked from factory right through to point of sale.

A super snazzy radio frequency identification system has also been developed to help inventory management by instantly showing items that need re-ordering. Clever, huh?

Zara's affordable catwalk-inspired collections have long been hot on every woman's shopping agenda so the fact that sell out items will be re-stocked in more sizes sooner is exactly what we want to hear. Happy customers and profits are maximised - everyone wins.

Inditex SA has already placed the tagging system into 700 of its more than 6,300 stores (Zara being just one of the brands using it). And that's why this company is top of its game.
