Once you've grasped the basics, note down these top tips:
1. Go easy with the brow pencil. To give yourself better control over the strokes, don't press too hard. Hold your eyebrow pencil at the end, not the top, like you would with a pen.
2. Always choose an eyebrow pencil one shade lighter than your hair colour for a subtle look.
3. To enhance your brow's shape, start your line a little lower than your natural eyebrow.
4. Finish the look with a touch of concealer - Yves Saint Laurent's Touche Eclat is the obvious choice. Apply underneath and to the top end of your brow to bring out the lines. Blend with a soft makeup brush.
