Makeup Tips: How To Look Good With A Hangover

You know the feeling. You've been out the night before, enjoyed one too many wines and when the alarm goes off in the morning, well, you have to admit you've looked better.

There's no way you can roll up to the office looking worse for wear, so you need to try and cover up any signs of a hangover. What do you reach for? Your makeup bag. Have you got time to start applying three different creams and serums plus all your favourite products before you leave the house? Er, no.

That's when a makeup tutorial, especially made for hangover days, is most needed.

In the video above, makeup artist Trisha Chan shares her words of wisdom on making yourself look presentable in just a few minutes.

Her advice? Start with your daily moisturiser to rehydrate the skin but don't skip using a primer - this will make your makeup stay put once you're on the go. Next, turn straight to your foundation and concealer to hide puffy eyes.

It's quicker (and safer) to avoid any contouring or highlighting work. Just finish your look with a eyeliner (Chan suggests smudging it over your lids for a lived-in look), mascara and a touch of blush for a bit of faux glow. Done!
