Bad news for anyone who was still hoping they had a chance with George Clooney. The actor is one step away from marrying his British fiancée Amal Alamuddin.
The couple - who have been engaged since April - have obtained a marriage licence ahead of their big day, rumoured to be taking place next month.
The Express reports 36-year-old Alamuddin was seen making a trip to a civic office in Chelsea to post their wedding banns. The document was on display at the town hall on the King's Road before being removed and shredded after 16 days.
Unfortunately for Clooney's fans, he didn't accompany his future wife on this visit (sob.)
"I think the girls in the office were disappointed George Clooney himself didn't come in," Dean Geoghegan, the register office superintendent said.
As for the wedding itself? It's thought that the 53-year-old actor will marry the British human rights lawyer at his home in Lake Como, Italy in just a few weeks time.
A friend of Lebanon-born Amal spoke to the Mail On Sunday in May and said, "September 12 is the date they are aiming for.
"Everyone thinks they will marry in Lake Como where George owns a beautiful home but Amal feels that is too public. They are looking to host a small wedding in an Italian village where they can control the photographers. But they haven't decided yet.
"They will then have big parties for her relative in Lebanon and London."
