Assisi Jackson, the daughter of Jade Jagger and grand-daughter of Mick Jagger, has given birth to a baby girl - making Mick the first great grand-daddy in The Rolling Stones.
It is thought the 21-year-old delivered her little one in Cornwall where she lives with boyfriend Alex Kay, 25, who is a chef in the area.
However, it is unlikely any pictures of the new mother and daughter will emerge any time soon as Jade is believed to be organising a photoshoot with a society magazine.
The 42-year-old is also expecting her third child with husband Adrian Fillary, it was revealed earlier this year.
Despite being younger than most first-time mums these days, Assisi was remarkably calm about the prospect of having a baby to care for prior to the birth.
"The women in our family just tend to have children young, it runs in the genes," she said.
Assisi is now likely to be showered with gifts and visits from the whole Jagger clan, who are so close Jerry Hall - Mick's ex-wife - even threw her and Jade a joint baby shower.
The good news is sure to be much comfort to Mick, who lost his long-term girlfriend, designer L'Wren Scott earlier this year.
Now, we're just waiting to find out what Jade will have - perhaps a little boy after two girls? We'll keep you posted.
