Lover of all things monochrome? You're going to be giddy shopping for this Autumn/Winter. This colour combo has been a big deal since Spring and hurrah! Monochrome isn't going anywhere..

However, the trend has had an overhaul. Rather than heavy colour blocking it's all about embellishment, contrasting patterns, textures and lengths.


The shows during London Fashion Week revealed designer heavyweights (Chanel, Versace, Raf Simons for Christian Dior...) are still mad for black and white. Next season the vibe is practical and super feminine but with a definite fearlessness - women taking this trend further mean business.

Yes, the colour is controlled but that shouldn't stop you really experimenting with it across other big A/W trends like animal print, layers and matchy-matchy print.
