In a classic case of truth being stranger than fiction, a video has emerged that appears to show Solange Knowles attacking brother-in-law Jay-Z in an elevator at the Met Ball 2014 as Beyonce looks on.
WE KNOW.
Solange appears to walk into the lift first and is followed by Jay-Z, Beyonce and a couple of men we assume to be bodyguards.

The former two seem to be having a heated discussion before Solange appears to strike Jay-Z and is instantly held back by a minder.
She appears to manage to strike him three times in total while Beyonce watches the apparent altercation but doesn't attempt to halt her sister.
Meanwhile, a bodyguard hits the stop button in the elevator most likely to keep the seeming conflict between the pair private.
However, with this surveillance video being leaked to TMZ that hasn't quite worked out.
Just one question: Jay-Z, what the heck did you do?
