Beyonce's been resting, relaxing and enjoying a hella lot of makeup-free downtime in the Dominican Republic... And shared the pictures on Tumblr to prove it.
The XO songstress posted a whole load of photos from her vay-cay, including a super cute shot of her and young daughter Blue Ivy playing on the grass, and her and Jay Z kicking back with a drink while looking out over the ocean. Utter bliss.
If these pictures don't make you want to live Beyonce's life then you've got a stronger will than us. But Queen Bey had reason to relax. Not only did the singer just wrap up the Mrs Carter Show World Tour after more than 100 shows, but she also had a sixth wedding anniversary to celebrate.
The trip comes as the former Destiny's Child star called out "the double standard" of contemporary sexuality, proposing that her latest album has "opened up [a] conversation" about women as sexual beings in Out magazine.
"Men are free and women are not," the singer wrote in an email interview for the magazine's May "Power" issue. "The old lessons of submissiveness and fragility made us victims.
"[But] women are so much more than that. You can be a businesswoman, a mother, an artist, and a feminist - whatever you want to be - and still be a sexual being. It's not mutually exclusive."
