An eight-year-old boy died after drowning in a washing machine. The boy was discovered by his dad, who went inside the Los Angeles home last Wednesday night to check on his son after doing chores in the garden.
The father pulled his son unconscious from the water-filled machine and called an ambulance, which rushed him to hospital. Sadly, he died on Sunday.
The death is being investigated by Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office but they are operating under the assumption it was a tragic accident.

"We have taken the washer as evidence. We're gonna process it forensically and make sure it was working properly," said Lieutenant Eddie Hernandez.
