Scott recently hit the headlines by doing a shirtless shoot fro Town & Country magazine - perhaps the abs was what caught the Fifty Shades team's eye.
According to the Daily Mail, Scott is one of two children born to flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves after she had a secret affair with Clint during the last three years of his 14-year relationship with Sondra Locke.
Scott took to Twitter to comment on the reports, but didn't confirm or deny he was in the running, writing: "What is all this talk about 50 shades of grey?? What do you all think?? Let me know. #hype #eastwoodlivin."
Just the fact he has "Get busy livin' or get busy dyin'" as his Twitter description means we're already in love.
