Coachella 2014: Celebrities Will Be Paid To Attend The Music Festival

Lea Michele, Vanessa Hudgens and Kate Bosworth are among a group of celebrities who are being paid to attend Coachella festival in California this year.

Glee star Lea Michele will reportedly earn a cool $20,000 from Lacoste to wear the brand's clothes while she pops and drops it to headline acts OutKast, Muse and Arcade Fire.

But she's not the only one. Vanessa Hudgens is being paid $15,000 by McDonalds to hit up the most talked about festival of the year.

While most of us have to cough up a small fortune to attend these events, the famous get paid for having fun in the sun, wearing fringed denim and dancing the night away. Such is life!

According to The New York Daily News, some stars are actively looking for companies to splash the cash in exchange for plugging their products.

Rumour has it Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul is asking for $15,000 and at least two VIP passes, while Kate Bosworth is demanding double that.

The news comes after we discovered a thing called the Coachella diet actually exists. In the run up to the festival last year a Twitter account dedicated to "cutting for Coachella" cropped up, posting messages like: "So, if you're a fat chick & you go to Coachella, what's the point? #coachelladiet," wow!

Perhaps Coachella is more about what you look like than actual music... Sigh.
