Dieting? The Exact Day And Time You're Likely To Binge Eat Is Revealed

The diet "danger zone" AKA the exact day and time those on a diet are most likely to give into temptation has been revealed - and we can't say we're surprised by the results.

According to new research by Lineaslim Effervescent Tablets, women will put themselves through the dieting mill all week long only to break resolve at 8pm on a Friday evening. But even if you manage to make it through Friday without scoffing a box of Milk Tray, Saturday is also high-risk.

Meanwhile, Tuesday poses the least threat to dieters - with only 2 of those polled admitting it impacts their dieting goals and even causes arguments with their friends and family.

The news comes as it is revealed nearly a quarter of British women are constantly on a diet and hoping to lose between one and two stones.

Dietitian Helen Bond told the Mail Online: "However much pressure we put on ourselves to eat healthy, get fit and lose weight during the week, good intentions often tend to fly out of the window at the weekend.

"If you have spent five weekdays days saving 500 calories a day, a total of 2500, but then eat an additional 2000 calories on Friday night and Saturday, you will not lose weight and it may actually contribute to weight gain."
