A fresh bunch of flowers is the easiest way to brighten up your home. And what does every bouquet need? A good vase. And you don't even need to spend loads on a new one either. Rosie and Hannah from The New Craft Society show how to fashion your own vase out of an everyday item - a milk bottle.Washi tape was everywhere in the craft world in 2013 and we're sure it's here to stay. It's essentially printed sticky tape that you can use in a huge variety of different craft projects. Some of the printed designs are amazing, we especially love the geometric patterns and block colours.
You will need:
Glass milk bottles
Washi tape, ours are from Scotch Expressions Scissors
- Cut the washi tape into strips and stick it onto the bottles any way you like. We like using two different prints and creating different patterns with them. Try cutting the tape at angles to create different designs.
- Fill with flowers and display on a windowsill where the light can shine through them! Find us on instagram @newcraftsociety and show us your creations!
