Dresses For Weddings: Summer 2014 Gorgeous Styles For Guests

Summer wedding-going is just THE BEST: the Pimms, the champaz, the mingling on verandas in the sunshine over canapes and more champaz (of the cocktail variety). But if your diary is already filling up with invites then guaranteed you're already thinking about what you're going to wear. The shoes, the bag, the bling - but mainly, the outfit is all about the dress.

You'll want something colourful, fresh and completely fabulous. Something that will have you turning heads, though not so much that you steal the bride's thunder. That's a mega no, no.

There's no easy way to go about trawling through and trying on styles for the occasion, but our latest wedding guest dress edit is perfect if you're after a little shopping inspiration for a summer wedding or soiree.

If you're in a more-than-one-wedding-invite situation and the guestlists crossover, you'll be needing at least two dresses. That's unless you do colour blocking and completely mix up the accessories. Needs must.

If you're working to a budget then Topshop, H&M, and Zara have a whole host of dresses that you can totally dress up with a chunky heel and classic clutch. A popping lipstick is optional but it also works like a charm.

And if you've got monies to spend? (This IS an occasion after all, ladies.) Then check out My-Wardrobe.com, Harvey Nichols, Cos, Whistles and Reiss for a look at all their brand new collections. Sometimes, only a Donna Karan mini dress will do.
