Whether she's opted for a full-on glamour ball gown or a seriously chic cocktail dress, Kate Middleton always looks achingly sophisticated. Last night at Sportsaid's Sportsball gala dinner at Victoria Embankment Gardens she opted for the latter - and looked perfect in a black Temperley frock.
The dress featured laser cutout flowers with a nude underlay and three-quarter-length sleeves.
Kate was carrying out her role of patron for the charity Sportsaid, which offers financial support for top up-and-coming athletes.
At the bash, she chatted to Olympians Amy Williams, Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson and Anna Watkins, as well as Sportsaid's rising young stars.
She also presented the One-to-Watch Award for the most outstanding up-and-coming young talent, which went to 16-year-old shooter Amber Hill from Bracknell.
As she laughed, chatted and relaxed at the event, Kate stole back some of the limelight from hubby Prince William, who was seemingly hogging it all by jumping on stage with Bon Jovi and Taylor Swift a few nights ago at the Winter Whites Gala. Go, Kate.
