Sporting what could only be described as a racy little skater dress, the former Harry Potter star's gorgeous white creation became ever so slightly see-through under the harsh flashbulbs of the waiting paparazzi.
Inadvertent flashing aside, Emma, who will attend the premiere of her new film The Bling Ring at the Cannes Film Festival tomorrow night, showcased her ability to take a trend, in this case monochrome, and really make it her own.
We love the hipster styling of the girly mini, which could easily have veered to the sickly side of sweet had she teamed it with heels and sugary extras. Instead, Emma tapped into her alternative side with tough buckled boots, a vintage handbag and retro Ray-Bans.
We wonder what she'll wear for the premiere? If it's anything like her Met Gala dress, we'll be in for a treat.
