Festival Nails: Nail Art Inspiration From Coachella 2014

Coachella is the first major event on the festival calendar and because it takes place in sunny California, plus the line-up and celebrity following are always amazing, there's no shortage of style inspiration.

This doesn't just mean admiring Beyonce's impressive collection of Topshop crop tops either. The Coachella-goers always make a good effort on the nail art front, which just so happens to be excellent news for the rest of us. (We can borrow all their great nail art ideas for Wireless, Latitude, Secret Garden Party etc.)

The most popular nail art design at Coachella? Palm trees and sunsets are two big favourites. Although we might not be blessed with the same sunshine and blue skies on festival dates over in the UK, these tropical nails make a great alternative to a muddy field-inspired option. (Then again, wellington boot nails could look cute...)

Fun, festival-ready designs will also see you through summer parties, BBQs and holidays. Plus, painting your nails in bright, bold colours will also put a smile on your face when it starts raining for days on end in July.

So - whether you've got your Glastonbury tickets already or you're simply looking for nail art inspo to try out this summer, take a look below to see how Katy Perry, Alessandra Ambrosio and co do festival nails...
