Florence Welch Wows In Dreamy Metallic Gown At New York Gala

Florence Welch, of Florence + The Machine fame, had all heads turning at the American Museum Of Natural History's 2013 Museum Gala in New York on Thursday.

The flame-haired singer looked stunning in a metallic floor-length Valentino gown teamed with a boxy red clutch.

Florence wasn't the star shining at the swanky event though. Victoria's Secret model Karlie Kloss was equally gorgeous in a similar glam frock.

Hmmm, perhaps their stylists should have swapped notes before this event. Just a thought.

This is a rare red carpet appearance for Flo who is notoriously private. The singer hasn't released an album since 2011 and has divided her time between London and NYC while shying away from the limelight.

However, we won't have to wait too long until we see Flo again. The 28-year-old will appear in a currently untitled film from off-the-wall director Terrence Malick next year.

The upcoming flick, described as a "musical drama", will feature a pretty stellar cast including Ryan Gosling, Michael Fassbender, Natalie Portman and Cate Blanchett. Excited much?

But for now, more Florence...
