Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin caused the rumour mill to go into overdrive when they were spotted dining together in LA this week. Were they rekindling their romance or are they just super good mates?
The pair announced they were to "consciously uncouple" earlier this year in a mutual split. But after being spotted sharing a meal together, it's clear they are doing their best to remain close for the benefit of their two children Apple and Moses.
The duo were seen enjoying dinner at Giorgio Baldi in Los Angeles and the New York Daily News quoted eye witnesses who said they were having a great time.
"Gwyneth and Chris were in a great mood, laughing and sharing some wine. Everyone in the restaurant definitely noticed them but they didn't draw attention. It looked like these was no bad blood between them at all."
Coldplay frontman Martin recently spoke out about his split for the first time during a open and revealing chat with Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe. In the interview he insisted his own personal issues had played a big part in the breakdown of their marriage.
When they announced their split in March the couple had been married for 10 years.
In the interview, he said: "If you can't open yourself up, you can't appreciate the wonder inside. So you can be with someone very wonderful, but because of your own issues you cannot let that be celebrated in the right way.
"What changed for me was - I don't want to go through life being scared of it, being scared of love, being scared of rejection, being scared of failure."
