The truth behind how Lovelace co-stars Amanda Seyfried and Peter Sarsgaard filmed those racy sex scenes has been exclusively revealed to MyDaily.
Speaking at a special screening of the Linda Lovelace biopic at the May Fair Hotel, Peter said Amanda sucked on a "popsicle" to make the *whispers* blow job scenes "look real".
"On a film like this you're shooting until 5am so it gets kind of giddy," the 42-year-old spilled. "You know the obscurity of what you're doing hits home.
"She's [Amanda] like pretending to give me a blow job and she's got a green popsicle and it's melting all over me, and she claims that she needs it to look real.
"It gets to be so weird and takes away the awkwardness." Hmmm. Though it wasn't just Amanda who lightened things up on set - Peter confessed to donning a sock on his penis too.
He said: "I would wear a sock and I would make it extra long, stuff it so that it was kind of fun and a joke. And also so no one would know the true size."
While Amanda said she wasn't a fan of porn, Peter admitted it didn't "take much" to get him off when he was growing up.
"For me it didn't take much. MTV was like pornography. I was Catholic, so any little thing would do.
"The thing that changed my opinion on porn was when my first daughter was born. You look at all these women and you think, 'That's somebody's baby!' I can't watch this anymore. It's ruined!"
