How George Clooney Won Over His Future Mother-In-Law

There was never any doubt that George Clooney is Hollywood's biggest charmer but now he's gone and taken heart-throb to a whole new level.

The 53-year-old actor has flown his fiance Amal Alamuddin's mother out to his private £25 million villa on Lake Como, Italy to meet her for the first time.

So far, so romantic and rumour has it, the loved up couple are in Italy scouting out potential wedding venues. Clearly, like many brides-to-be before her, Amal wanted her mother's approval on both her man and the ceremony location.

A source told The Mirror: "They say the only thing more intimidating than a huge Hollywood film star is a mother-in-law, yet George showed no signs of nerves. Baria has the ability to put anyone at ease and she was equally at ease around George.

"She is not your typical mother-in-law and back in Lebanon she is a star in her own right. They all get along famously together."

Amal, 36-year-old British-Lebanese lawyer, is a total catch too. She's smart, stylish and intelligent so it's no wonder that she caught the eye of the world's most eligible bachelor.

An elegant, understated (surely?) Italian wedding? Perfect, but we need details on thedress. Whatever gown Amal goes for, she's sure to look stunning.
