Gisele Bundchen recently confessed she "loves" exercise and if she could be any Spice Girl, she would definitely be Sporty.

Her passions include yoga, jogging and beach tennis but football? Let's hope she's a fan of that too as Gisele is tipped to be presenting the FIFA World Cup to the winning team in Brazil next month.

The Boston Globe reports the responsibility of the trophy presentation has been given to "Brazil's most beautiful export," in place of the president Dilma Rousseff.

Why? Due to the huge costs incurred (the total sum is reported to be in the billions of pounds) from hosting the football tournament and the forthcoming Olympic games in 2016, Rousseff isn't exactly popular in her home country at the moment.

Instead, FIFA has asked a less controversial figure to do the honours at the Maracana Mario Filho Stadium in Rio de Janeiro on 13 July.

It's also said 33-year-old Bundchen will be joined by her husband and American football quarterback Tom Brady at the ceremony.

Oh, and the trophy? The Telegraph reports it will be "housed in a custom-made trunk by Louis Vuitton."

Of course the World Cup will be packaged inside designer luggage. Could this just be the most fashionable prize-giving in the history of football tournaments? We'll soon find out...
