James Bulger's Mum Targeted By Twitter Troll

The mum of James Bulger, the little boy who was murdered by two schoolboys when he was just two years old, has been abused online.

Denise Fergus was targeted by a vile troll on Twitter.

Her little boy was taken from a shopping centre in Bootle, Merseyside in 1993 and battered to death on a railway line by Jon Venables and Robert Thompson.

The disgusting message directed at her said:

'[Denise] was to blame. She let go of James' hand.'

The devastated mum posted a reply saying: 'Can't believe that some1 on here is still blaming me 4 my son's murder, it took me a long time 2 stop blamin myself. Thanx 4 ruinin my evenin.'

Her husband Stuart, 38, said Twitter have to take action against people who post abusive tweets.

"It affected Denise. Twitter have got to act against trolls. They face no consequences. It's gutless," he told the Mirror.
