Jodie Kidd has revealed she and boyfriend David Blakeley are engaged. Hurrah for celebrity weddings!
In an interview with Hello! magazine, the British supermodel announced Blakeley - a former army soldier - got down on one knee while they were on holiday in India in December.
Adding to the romance is the fact their courtship and engagement has been a bit of a whirlwind - the couple just met last summer.
Understandably, Kidd said she's "on cloud nine" and "totally chuffed" about the proposal.
"David and I got on from the start and things have moved quickly. We are in love and very happy. He is an amazing man."
Blakeley also opened up about his feelings for Kidd, saying he'd "never felt like this before".
He added: "I knew it was different from the moment I met Jodie. I absolutely feel it is something extremely special and unique and irreplaceable with Jodie."
While this will be Blakeley's first marriage, it will be Kidd's second. The star separated from her first husband, Aidan Butler, in 2007
