Kate Middleton Does Breton Stripes For Trip To The Olympic Park

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, paid a visit to the Olympic Park in South East London on Friday and was utterly glowing in a simple breton stripe top, jeans and a jacket.

Kate took the morning off baby duties to join young athletes and their parents in education workshops for her charity SportsAid at London's Olympic Park.

The occasion marked the royal's first solo public appearance since giving birth to Prince George in July this year.

Although this isn't the first time we've seen K-Middy since the arrival of the royal baby - she has appeared in public twice by husband Prince William's side - this latest appearance suggests she's keen to get back to royal duties.

And by royal duties we mean jumping in the air and showing off her ridiculously flat stomach!

A source told the Daily Record: "Kate is devoted to being a mother, however she feels ready to resume some royal duties and will be carrying out a few engagements before Christmas.

"She understands the impact her appearance can make for her charities and wants to support them. However her programme will, understandably, remain fairly sparse for the immediate future at least."
