Kate Middleton Pregnant: The Duchess Of Cambridge Expecting Second Child?

If recent reports are to be believed, the Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant for the second time.

Kate Middleton's school friend Jessica Hay confirmed the news to Australian publication New Idea, Radar Online reports.

"Kate's inner circle are buzzing with the news that she is pregnant," Hay allegedly told the tabloid magazine. "I've heard it from several different friends of theirs now and they're saying that they think there's going to be an official announcement in weeks."

Hay, who shared a dormitory with Kate at Marlborough College, added, "Kate's face is fuller like it was when she was first expecting George and she's been changing her hair, which could be to disguise the fullness.

"She has rosy cheeks, she's letting her greys show again, and whenever she's out in public she goes to great lengths to hold something over her tummy."

It doesn't sound like the news is definite just yet, although as this Australian website points out, Hay predicted the announcement of Kate's first pregnancy - and she's right about the 'clutch bag over her tummy' trick...

The news comes just days before Prince George's first birthday on 22 July. To celebrate his first year, Vanity Fair gave the young royal the cover spot on its August issue.

In a feature for the magazine, a royal insider revealed George's social life is already active.

"They take George to playdates at the homes of friends, among them Kate's old Marlborough friend Alice St John Webster, who has a baby several months older than George," Vanity Fair contributor Katie Nicholl writes.
