Katherine Jenkins: 'It Irritates Me When Women Don't Back Each Other Up'

Katherine Jenkins has spoken out after bearing the brunt of a whole lot of media stick. The singer admitted she gets totally peeved when "women don't back each other".

In an interview with Cambridge NewsKatherine said she finds it "incredibly frustrating" when she reads some of the stories about her in the press.

When asked about her feelings after Daily Mail columnist Jan Moir took a swipe at her for looking "too flawless" while running the London marathon, Kath spilled, "I ran the marathon in memory of my dad to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support who helped him when he was dying, and I felt it was wrong for my motives to be questioned.

"I actually was wearing hardly any makeup but if I had worn a face full of clown's makeup it shouldn't have mattered because I raised a lot of money for charity."

She added, "It irritates me when women don't back each other up; I personally think we should all be helping each other out rather than attacking each other."

We couldn't agree more with Kath on this one. Sometimes it's better for everyone to just play nice.
