TV personality and entrepreneur Katie Price is so determined to have 'one, or possibly more' kids to add to her brood of four that she plans to freeze her eggs and use a surrogate if she cannot conceive naturally, she told readers of her column in Now magazine.

The artist formerly known as Jordan revealed all in a sharp-tongued rebuttal to what she calls excessive press speculation over her plans for future children.

"What's the infatuation with some magazines filling their pages with 'Katie trying for baby no. five' stories?" she asked in the snippy rejoinder.

"Let me set the record straight: I would love to have another baby, possibly a few more, but I will do so when I'm ready. And I'm not ready yet," she insisted, echoing comments she made in the same column last month saying: "The last thing I need right now is another screaming baby."

When the time comes, however, she is ready to do whatever it takes to expand her family. "If doctors say I can't have any more children, I'll freeze my eggs and then find a surrogate," she announced in the column.

She also had scathing words for the 'insiders' to whom gossip magazines usually credit their dodgy rumours, saying that 'if and when' she had baby news, it would come from her rather than 'one of these imaginary friends or sources'.

Katie, 35, is already mum to 11-year-old Harvey, from a relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke, as well as Junior, eight, and Princess Tiaamii, six, with ex-husband Peter Andre. And in August last year she welcomed latest addition to her brood, son Jett Riviera, with current husband Kieran Hayler.
