After weeks of speculation, Kelly Rowland has confirmed her engagement to long-term partner Tim Witherspoon. Congrats!
The Destiny's Child star revealed the news on TheQueen Latifah Show, due to air in the US on Wednesday.
E! News reports that Rowland confirmed , "He put a ring on it," during her interview on the show.
"It's been a while," the singer says. "We've kept it very, very low-for years, to be completely honest."
However - the engagement didn't follow the traditional down-on-one-knee procedure.
Kelly tells Latifah that Witherspoon asked her to marry him over Skype, while he was away in Bulgaria. Er, we guess a long-distance proposal is still kind of romantic?
And look! Kelly gave us a glimpse of the engagement ring when the happy couple went to watch Jay Z in Los Angeles earlier this month.
The rumours were true!
