Newlyweds Kim Kardashian and Kanye West marked their daughter North's first birthday on Sunday, showing off her newly pierced ears during a trip out in New York.
Teddy bears and building blocks just won't do for little Nori, whose parents treated her to her very first diamonds as she turned 12-months-old.
North's new sparklers, which we're guessing probably cost more than our monthly salary, were revealed as Kim and Kanye took their little one to the Children's Museum Of Manhattan at the weekend.
And while there's no doubt she looked cute as a button in her mother's arms, we're sure the couple's choice to pierce their daughter's ears at such a young age could cause controversy.
Following their outing, Kim took to Instagram to share a snap of the birthday girl and her dad taking a nap.
"This is what life is about! Our baby girl turned 1 today," Kim wrote along side the picture.
"We played so hard they passed out while we were watching the game! Happy Father's Day to the best daddy in the world! The way you love our daughter and protect her makes me filled with so much love!"
The occasion comes after Kim and Kanye returned from their second honeymoon in Mexico. The pair lounged by the ocean at the exclusive Casa Aramara retreat in Punta Mita following their slightly unexpected post-wedding break in Ireland.
