Lily Allen was "devastated" when she woke up the morning after the Met Gala 2014 and realised she'd completely ruined the day-old Balenciaga shift dress she donned to the ball's after-party on Monday night.
The 29-year-old left the most stylish night in the fashion calendar with British actress Ruth Wilson and headed to the star-studded after-party, before grabbing a solo takeaway pizza and proving that even the rich and famous sometimes end up with tomato sauce all over their new clothes.
Lily was seen carrying a big takeaway pizza box into the swanky Carlyle Hotel in New York, but couldn't resist chowing down on a few slices en route, sporting a splash of sauce around her mouth and all down her dress.
According to reports, the singer didn't give two flying ducks as she was still keen to greet fans and sign autographs outside her New York City hotel, and proved she was in good spirits about the whole fiasco the following morning.
"Lol at the actual pizza face," the Sheezus singer wrote on Twitter after catching sight of pap shots of herself chowing down on a cheese pizza.
"I'm dev'd btw, I bought that dress yesterday and it's ruined."
Before totally wrecking her brand new designer dress, Lils was sure to share a snap of the pizza slice destined to make headlines on Instagram... Because, of course!
After spending the majority of the Met Gala taking selfies with anyone who'd join in - including, Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Donatella Versace, Derek Blasberg, Rita Ora and Cara Delevigne - it's no surprise Lily worked up an appetite.
