She's back from a three year break. And now Lily Allen is speaking out about why she originally 'retired' and her new outlook on the showbiz scene.

The singer is the cover of the next issue of Esquire magazine, and made it clear she isn't looking to take Rihanna's crown anytime soon.

"I feel very lucky. I couldn't ask for much more really," she told the mag. "And actually I'm not really asking for much more.

"I'm not trying to take over the world here. I don't want to be Rihanna. I want to sell some records, sell some tickets to my shows and live my life."

Lily, who posed for pics at her home (and looks pretty bloody fab), said she left the music industry because she was "at the end of (her) tether".

"I'd had enough of people constantly hacking at me. And I think once you're exhausted physically and mentally, it does get you down."
