London Fashion Week: Burberry Prorsum Autumn/Winter 2014

Burberry Prorsum's Autumn/Winter 2014 collection could be described in two words: cool comfort. There were knits, there were scarves, there were flowing printed dresses.

It was all very effortless and loungey, but the type of loungey you could wear to an extremely important event and still look like the best-dressed person in the room.

Burberry regulars Cara Delevingne, Jourdan Dunn and Edie Campbell were joined by Suki Waterhouse, who naturally brought along boyfriend Bradley Cooper.

If you weren't gazing longingly at the clothes, you were wondering what on earth the American Hustle actor was saying to make his front row buddy Anna Wintour giggle. Oh to be a fly...

With Paloma Faith singing backed strings, alongside Ed Harcourt and Rhodes, the show as always felt like it was about a lot more than fashion.

But when it comes to the fashion, here's what you need to know:

1. Burberry girls need to take scarf shopping seriously, because you need a new scarf - at least one. Not a big woolly one. Not a snood. Something that drapes elegantly round your neck. Bulk is your enemy.

2. Blankets aren't just for mid-afternoon naps on your sofa but to wear over your shoulder. And if they're monogrammed, thats' even better.

3. A printed, flowing dress cinched with a skinny belt is your staple for next season. The look is sort of Ibiza girl who spends autumn in the English countryside. Team it with said blanket and a short shearling jacket.
