London Fashion Week: Simone Rocha Autumn/Winter 2014

The Autumn/Winter 2014 shows at London Fashion Week have showcased serious texture play. The real game players will be mixing in the multi-fabric trend next season and they'll be wearing Simone Rocha too.

Rocha's runway had neoprene pieces, snakeskin, velvet, tartan and fur. The palette was perfect for girls who like to do matchy-matchy, with pastel pinks (Simone's signature shade), high shine separates and lavish print.

This top-to-toe snakeskin ensemble? Absolutely incredible. The ruffle sleeves on the boxy jacket, the full skirt and the lace-up boots. This is how to do power-making python print.

Here's a few notes from the show, because mastering the art of Simone dressing is definitely on the fashion agenda for A/W...

1. Floral embroidered tulle dresses, gold metallic brogues and gold leaf stencils on the forehead make for a really beautiful look.

2. Hair is worn in corn rows. Think wispy updos with a regal, elfin vibe and bead embellished headbands.

3. Faux-fur trim works with everything. On flats, collars, outerwear and standout handbags.

4. TEXTURE: don't deny the fact that Simone makes a multi-fabric outfit work. Tartan and python print, neoprene and fur, gauze and ponyskin - it all goes.
