Ever since Simone Rocha, Stella McCartney and Miu Miu showcased their candyfloss coats at the Autumn/Winter 2013 shows, the fashion world has gone crazy for pink. Turns out? The colour is here to stay for Spring/Summer 2014 too (see Cara Delevingne on the Burberry catwalk).
So - well done Eva Mendes for getting in their early and wearing the season's hottest colour before everyone gets sick of it.
The actress arrived at the Good Morning America studios in New York on Thursday morning wearing what can only be described as the perfect pink coat. The pastel shade? Subtle and soft. The fabric? Looks like cashmere (so really cosy). The style? Simple but very chic.
As for the rest of Eva's outfit, the belted rose-print dress, the polka dot headband and those square shades made for a fabulous Fifties-inspired daytime ensemble.
Sickly sweet? Nope. Effortlessly glamorous. Oh yes.
