The 33-year-old actress has stripped off for Esquire magazine's April issue and mainly talks about her teeth and her struggle to get a visa before the Mad Men gig came along.
As a Canadian she needed a visa to stay in the country. To get one, she needed an employer willing to sponsor her.
"I really struggled," she told the mag. "What was supposed to take three months took nine. I couldn't work or travel, and any momentum that I had gained from Jack & Bobby just dissipated."
Then she auditioned for Mad Men. "I was ready to move back to my parents' place, ready to get a job at my friend's bar back home and just pack it in," she explained.
"I had nothing left to lose. I went into the audition thinking, This is it. If you don't like it, that's fine. Nobody else has."
And about those nashers? "You can't get a lot of shit stuck in theses teeth," she told the US mag.
Mad Men's Jessica Pare is "A Woman We Love," in the April issue of Esquire magazine, on newsstands now.
