Hollywood fave Michele Pfeiffer is back on the scene and looking kind of amazing head-to-toe in purple velvet at the world premiere of The Family in New York.
The 55-year-old actress was stunning in a rather daring ensemble, which she somehow managed to pull off without looking like your granny's carpet. How she did it? We just don't know.
Michelle, fondly remembered at MyDaily HQ for her quite frankly stella performances in What Lies Beneath and Stardust, stepped into a deep purple brocade trouser suit which probably would've looked completely and utterly horrendous on anyone apart from the Scarface actress.

In other Michelle news, the star - who prides herself on her healthy lifestyle - recently told Ladies Home Journalthat she hasn't always looked after herself.
"I haven't always been healthy. When I was in my 20s I smoked two packs of cigarettes a day," she told the mag. "I lived on Marlboro Lights and Coca-Cola.
"Having to watch yourself age on a giant movie screen is simply not natural. It can wreak havoc on your psyche," she admitted.
"Once you get over a certain hump there actually is less pressure. You can begin to look great for your age. You don't have to look young anymore... I've moved over to that other side – I'm 55, which is a little too close to 60, but looking great for my age is okay now."
