Milan Fashion Week: Fendi Autumn/Winter 2014

Cara Delevingne opened and closed Fendi'sAutumn/Winter 2014 show and this season, it was all about showcasing the ultimate accessory - a miniature furry Karl Lagerfeld doll.

The collection featured oversized fur hoods, midi-skirts, dreamy dresses and a fabulous autumnal patchwork palettes.

Standout pieces were practical with huge pockets, maxi dresses were billowy and beautiful with sheer skirts and sequin detail. Outerwear was all about the opulence - think splattered statement furs.

And can we just talk about the drones? They showed up pre-show equipped with cameras and hovered above the guests. Genius.

Here's a few style notes to get down if you want to be a lady working Fendi trends this A/W...

1. Cardi-coats and bombers are over the top and shin-length. They're patchwork fur, sparkly, quilted or navy with zip front detailing.

2. Boxy bags are hand held and mini Karl dolls will be a must-have for his biggest fan girls.

3. Footwear is black or white leather/suede and if it's not thigh-high (to FULL smouldering effect) it's a sporty ankle boot.

4. Hair is slicked back into a no fuss style - handy if you're working a fur hood a la Cara Delevingne.

Love Fendi and Karl AND everything fur? This collection is for you...
