Miranda Kerr Looks Incredible In Strapless Print For Michael Kors Store Opening In Shanghai

Michael Kors opened his flagship store in Shanghai on Thursday and to help him celebrate the launch, he flew in a famous face especially for the occasion.

Who did he ask to model one of his Spring/Summer designs? Miranda Kerr. Why? It must have something to do with the fact she looked THIS good in a strapless polka dot dress.

Chocolate brown isn't usually a colour we'd associate with a summer style, but the model did her best to persuade everyone it's a totally acceptable shade to wear, as long as you've got a tan and a pair of white stilettos to go with it.

Kerr's look was complete with a slicked-back updo, a matte red lip colour and simple stud earrings. (A strapless design like this is best left accessory-free.)

Before the launch party, Kors spoke to Business of Fashion founder Imran Amed about the beginnings of his career in fashion.

"I got to school and suddenly I realised, I was never going to be a brilliant seamstress," he said. "That was never going to happen. And even though I was 18, I knew the kind of woman I wanted to design for. I knew what the aesthetic was."

When asked about his brand's "DNA", Kors replied, "We still want indulgence, we still want glamour, and 'jet set' is the perfect way to sum up how you have both."
