A bumper baby girl has been born weighing a whopping 13lb, 10oz – double the average weight of a newborn baby.
Kaelyn Hernandez was delivered by C-section (phew!) at Whittier Hospital Medical Centre in California. She is the biggest baby the centre has ever recorded.
Kaelyn's mum, Yvette Camberos Hernandez, went into labour a week early, and was shocked (to say the least!) at the size of her new arrival, telling Fox News:
"My pregnancy was good, I wasn't really showing so that's why I was surprised when I saw her and they told me her weight."
Yvette's first child weighed 8lb, 8oz, and her second 10lb, 10oz.
